Vinnie's Spring Doily 2 and Motif 11
Vinnie put a call out for people to test tat her new pattern. Nothing like a challenge and something completely new to tat!! Plus that nice feeling of being in the first few to give it a go......
If you haven't been to Vinnie's blog (http://vinniestattings.blogspot.com/) get over there now. Her work is gorgeous and there is always something there worth looking at.
So here is my version.
What a sweet pattern!! Vinnie you have done so well. It was such an honour that you shared it with us.
Can't wait to see more of your patterns. Thank you for the opportunity to give it a try. It was fun.
Thread is Lizbeth 40 Vineyard Harvest.
Also off the shuttle is Motif 11.
A square motif that i love from the NSW Guild Newsletter August 2005. Possibly a Julie Patterson creation ( I am sure she will correct me if I am wrong!)
Dark Red size 20 Cebelia.
Thinking this one might be a candidate for a few extra rounds at some point or maybe it should be one of the next challenge pieces at guild to see who can expand on it?
On to another project. Got some amazing HDT this week to give a try. Now to decide what to do.
Worst thing about HDT is finding something that you won't run out of thread doing...
