The Amazing Trip - Part Two - Port Byron, NY

The second part of my trip had me travelling from Indianapolis to Syracuse where I was met by Ginny Weathers and her Mum, Bunny Baker and taken back to the beautiful Port Byron.

What a welcome that was!!

This time the wayward bag was under control

Arriving at Ginny's place was like coming home. So picturesque and peaceful. I had a wonderful view from my room. I was treated to a perfect roast lamb (truly scrumptious!) dinner for my birthday. This place was so welcoming and warm. I felt like I had always been here.

And a companion to share it with....Snowball

Which quickly escalated to two companions when Tortie decided I was ok....

Then there was Suzie..... What a cutie!!

Ginny and I went to Montezuma and looked at the remains of the old Aqueduct. First time in my life I have seen a snake and was happy to just watch it pass without wondering if I was going to get bitten! LOL Ginny was not so keen... the frog was much less confronting!

On the way home we went through the Montezuma Wildlife Refuge. Didn't see much real wild life but found some interesting pics anyway.

Sadly we did not see a real one. This sculpture was amazing though

But we did see a rare baby digger asleep in the field. We were so lucky to catch this photo. They are so easily startled......

A trip to the local supermarket is not usually so interesting, but I loved Sauders Store. Such beautiful produce and so nicely presented.

Next on our travels was the trip to Niagara Falls..... but that is going to have a post all of it's own!
