Another lovely motif, this one by Iris Niebach.
ReplyDeleteTatting lends itself to wonderful medallions that 'mimic' fine embroidery. I can visualize this motif in gold thread on a velvet evening bag or velvet box (I have one it would look perfect on). Thanks so much for the link - I'm heading over there now!
Glad it's getting 'cooler' for you. I'm assuming you've had the equivalent of 90 F. here in the US, and I agree that that's too hot! However, you are managing to tat these sweet motifs for us to enjoy, Is the 'larger project' a secret for now?

Yes we have just had a week of over 100F every day so not really good tatting weather.
The larger project isn't secret - just not much progress. Will post once I get into it.
